RetroSweets.co.uk has been bringing back sweet shop memories since 2004.
We started with a simple idea: to make it easy to find the sweets people remembered from childhood. The ones that came from huge glass jars behind the counter, cost a few pennies and somehow tasted even better eaten from a paper bag on the way home.
More than 20 years later, we’re still doing it.
Over the years we’ve supplied retro sweets to thousands of customers across the UK. Our sweets have appeared on TV, topped wedding cakes, been enjoyed by celebrities and been supplied to some of the UK’s largest retailers and corporate clients.
Today RetroSweets.co.uk forms part of The Gifting Team, led by Emily Muns, but our purpose remains much the same as it was in 2004: finding great sweets and helping people rediscover a little bit of their childhood.

A lot has changed since we started selling sweets online in 2004, but the reaction to finding an old favourite hasn’t.
There’s something rather special about spotting a sweet you haven’t seen for years. Suddenly you’re back in the local sweet shop, at the school gates or spending your pocket money on something fizzy, chewy, chocolatey or covered in sherbet.
That’s what we love about retro sweets.
Our range brings together old fashioned and traditional sweets remembered across generations, from classic favourites to sweets made famous during the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.
Some have barely changed. Others have disappeared and returned. And occasionally we’ll come across something we’d almost completely forgotten existed.
Those are usually our favourites.

After more than two decades in confectionery, we know a thing or two about sweets.
We work with established confectionery brands and suppliers to bring together a range that includes much-loved classics alongside newer versions of the sweets we grew up with.
Our range includes products from James Patricks, Feel Good Sweets and Chewbz, alongside many of the familiar names and flavours that have been part of British childhoods for generations.
